Nina Björk comes from Frösön, Jämtland. Residens in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, Sweden. She is a portrait painter and is often hired to paint portraits on commission. Beween making portaits in oil she paint paintings that she imagine. The inspiration comes from within. Ninas paintings are insightful and soulful art. She paint to create a resting-place for the eyes, but also art that challenge and requires reflection. A face that has a history, a landscape and the people living there, or an abstract landscape. In them you can feel an "awareness" of something more... behind the scene.

Her art is timeless, she shift techniques because she want to challenge herself, sometimes Nina make realistic paintings and sometimes impressionistic or abstract paintings. she use brush, knife of her fingers when she paint and use oil or acrylic.
